H1N1 Flu Virus                                     

Protect you and your family with good health habits.

 

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, good health habits can help stop the spread of germs and prevent respiratory illnesses like the flu.

How can i protect myself, my family, and my co-workers?

  • Encourage everyone to cover their mouth and nose when the cough and sneeze.
  • Wash your hands often with soap and water, especially after you use the restroom, cough, sneeze, and after every meal.
  • Try to avoid close contact with sick people.
  • Consider using a face mask or N95 respirator (especially around anyone with the H1N1 virus).
  • Use a hand sanitizer product as often as possible.
  • Wash all dishes with warm water and soap.
  • Frequently touched surfaces should be cleaned with a US-EPA registered bleach-based solution or disinfectant product.
  • Use disinfectant wipes on frequently touched surfaces like office phones, door knobs, computer mouses, keyboards, and remote controls.
